Or a stroll along the beachfront will bring you into the heart of Lennox Head where you'll find a wonderful selection of cafes, bars and retail outlets.

Very quiet location
Kay K - 2nd April 2025We have stayed at many places in Lennox but this is the quietest by far. Being back from the beachfront it is peaceful but obviously you will usually drive to the beach or shops because there is no quick pedestrian access (only 2-3 minute drive). The property has good sized rooms, great wifi, and good hot water and ceiling fans. Also good for a small dog as the back courtyard is gated.

rebecca l - 3rd March 2024The house is well located and fitted out. However there is no air conditioning which is fine but the fans either dont work or the speed is so high it’s dangerous. As a result the house is extremely hot. It is disappointing as everything else about the house is great.

Walking distance to the beach

Place as described, walking distance to beach, clean friendly neighbourhood, good cafes and restaurants, lots of things to do short driving distance. Dog-friendly beach right by the surfclub. I would book this house again, if we venture to Lennox Head again. Thank you for being dog-friendly.
Nice place but needs TLC
Steve Petratos - 13th April 2023Five star price and location, three star facilities. Cobwebs, dusty and lots of cockroaches. Accommodation for 6, lounge room seats 4, even a couple of bean bags would have done. 4 teaspoons for 6 people and the worst frying pan I have ever used. Bedroom fans not working properly, En-suite door very hard to open. When paying these rates for accommodation you would expect things like a smart TV as streaming is all kids watch. Nice place but needs to lift what is provided.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay
Michael - 1st November 2020'Nice big house with all the amenities needed for a holiday stay. Located in a quiet residential street several streets back from the beach and about 15-20min walk into town. Wifi was really good. Flexibility in allowing our pets to stay and secure garage for our cars. Kitchen had everything we needed also. Property is a duplex but still very quiet. Very comfortable and relaxing stay, with very easy check-in and check-out and good communication with the host.'

essbw - 5th May 2019My husband and I stayed at Rowlos Retreat with our son and daughter-in-law and 15 month old granddaughter over Easter 2019. We had a really enjoyable stay. The house was clean, comfortable, very well located and child friendly. We had many enjoyable walks to the beach and shops and there is a nice caf within easy walking distance. If you want comfort, and dont need the excitement of being right on the beach, we would thoroughly recommend this house.

Amei - 12th April 2019Rowelo's was a lovely place to stay and over all were really happy. Bathroom ( ensuite) and bedroom were perfect for the wheelchair / commode ( very happy) Unable to get wheelchair past the lounge in the living room not enough space on the side. The ramps for the wheelchair were easy enough for us to get down but may be hard for elderly person or person in the wheelchair on their own maybe they could be a permanent fixture.
Spacious quiet retreat
matt2478 - 5th February 2019We had a lovely stay with our three teenage children at Rowlo retreat. The 3 bedrooms allowed for lots of space for everyone to spread out and the internet kept the kids happy. It was easy access to town, the beach and lake. It was clean and tidy with garage to park in.
